Who I Help and What to Expect
Our intimate partners are often the most important chosen relationships we have. Because of this, the stakes are high and expectations look different than in other relationships. We want our romantic partners to see us, value us, and understand us deeply. Therefore, when betrayals happen, both small and large, they hit hard and often rock our relational foundation. Unsure whether our partners are as safe as we once thought, we may become anxious and insecure or hurt and pull away, struggling to get back to one another.
In our couples work, you can expect to shift your perspective from “me against you” to “us against the problem,” and, eventually, “us as team.” This process takes a unique strength to enter a space of vulnerability that may feel activating, but in the safety of the therapy room, can be transformational.

My approach to couples work is attachment-based and trauma-informed. I welcome all couples regardless of gender, sexual orientation, relationship composition, or LGBTQ+ identity. All of you and all of your relationship is welcome here.
